President of Hak-İş Mahmut Arslan who gave a speech at the Symposium on "Trade Unionism in the Islamic World" said that they attach importance to the creation of a "Union Committee" within the framework of the Islamic Cooperation Organization. Director of Education and Technical Cooperation Department of SESRIC Fatih Serenli emphasized that everyone should take responsibility in order to strengthen the dialogue and social climate between the trade unions operating in Islamic countries.
The International Symposium on Trade Unionism in the Islamic World organized by the Confederation of Public Servants Trade Unions (Memur-Sen) and the Islamic Countries Statistics, Economic, Social Research and Training Center (SESRIC) continues in Istanbul. President of Memur-Sen Ali Yalçın, President of Hak-İs Mahmut Arslan, Head of SESRIC Education and Technical Cooperation Department Fatih Serenli, Memur-Sen and Members of the Board of Directors of trade unions affiliated to Memur-Sen, international confederation representatives and numerous trade union managers attended to the program.
