Collective Bargaining Offers for Education Service Branch were discussed

Within the framework of the 4th Period Collective Agreement negotiations, which will determine the financial and social rights of public employees for 2018-2019, the representatives of trade unions and relevant ministries came together in the State Personnel Administration on 2 August 2017 for the evaluation of proposals for Education, Training and Science Service Branch. Proposals of Education Service Branch were discussed at the State Personnel Administration with the participation of Mr. Latif Selvi, Deputy President of Eğitim-Bir-Sen, Mr. Hasan Yalçın Yayla, Vice President of Eğitim-Bir-Sen responsible for Legislation and Collective Bargaining, Mr. Harun Kale, our Legal Advisor, and the representatives from the relevant ministries. 



Ali Yalçın, the Chairman of the Delegation of the Public Servants' Confederations, Eğitim-Bir-Sen and Memur-Sen also participated in the negotiations and stated that they put the demands of public servants and education employees into table, and offered reasonable and acceptable demands. At the end of the process, Yalçın made a wish that completing the collective agreement with the results that would make all the education employees happy.

 

Before the collective bargaining negotiations, Eğitim-Bir-Sen organized workshops in every representative about problems facing by education workers and solution to these problems. At the end of workshops reports had been sent to the headquarters and last adjustments have been done and after the confirmation of our legal advisors we transmitted our requests to the government. Eğitim-Bir-Sen determined problems and requests of education workers and prepared reports on it. Every request, from the bottom to the top of the administration, was discussed. Thus Eğitim-Bir-Sen have fulfilled its duty.


The first part of proposals transmitted to the State Staff Presidency on 24 July 2017, has been discussed on 2 August 2017. In the following days negotiations will continue.
